Wow my lot run for their lives when the vac comes out. Shake n Vac is not good for kitties it gets through their pads on their feet into the blood stream.

This cat loves being vacuumed even more than my mini-panther guy does. But one question: WHAT ABOUT THE TAIL???

Our cats run a mile just when they here the pipe clanking as I get our hoover out from under the stairs- the dogs not to keen either (still it's a good way to get them all outdoors).

Pets of all shapes, sizes and hoover sensibilities still feature quite highly in the photo's customers submit to our personalised photo gift website.

In fact we had one customer who ordered one Christmas and my partner remembered the dog and was delighted to see it recovered and appearing on a new photo for a new gift the following year.

This is my dream, though it would never work with Lucy, our cat. Her paranoia of the vacuum cleaner runs so deep that she hisses and runs when she sees the ironing board, that she associates with the cleaning man who she associates with the vacuum cleaner. It's an elaborate world of irrational feline psychosis, best not to delve too deep.

ditto to all the comments about their cats running away when the vacuum cleaner is used.

what a great laid back cat this one is... and it's also a great way to hoover up the fleas from their coat
