Fancy a pint down The Bear & Roscoe?

Today a nice company called Purrfect Box sent a box of toys and treats for my cats (see valerian heart being destroyed by Roscoe below). Instead of addressing the package to me, the company decided to write my cats' names on the package. The courier looked slightly stressed when he arrived at the door. "I've been driving around for ages looking for a pub called The Bear & Roscoe," he told me as he handed me the package.

Are you absolutely sure that the pub isn't Roscoe's new business venture? She could have been working on a take-over bid when you saw her there a few weeks ago. I can imagine The Bear has invested, to provide for his retirement from being your factotum.

I feel a little sad that #Ralphymittens and #LovelyShipley got no toys.

If you decide to open that pub, drop me a message and I will organize a trip from Rome just to have a beer with you and the cats!

Oh, yeah, that would be fun, especially if Roscoe shows up on a regular basis.

You'd think the letter carrier would know them by now :-) Stripey gets mail sometimes, too; no one has given me a hard time about it...yet!

I bet the jukebox in The Shipley Inn only plays offensive rap.

Explaining to the post office depot that Miss Rosie Brown is my cat and the parcel was a birthday present for her from my gran was interesting...
