Favourite Habits
Mounting the chests of unsuspecting sleeping people and staring into their eyes intensely until they wake up. Dropping a toy mouse on sleeping person in the middle of the night to incite a game of mousey. Chewing and spitting out cardboard boxes like chewing tobacco. Destroying cat toys to get hold of the balls inside. Playing fetch and using the vegetable patch as his personal litter box. Stalking and attacking his sister Tinka. Also washing her if in a good mood.
What constitutes a perfect evening for you?
A bowl of freshly cooked, finely chopped free range chicken breast followed by a good football match on telly during which I try and prevent the ball from going in goal, followed by a nap on my owner’s lap complete with chin and ear tickles and maybe a brushing.
Favourite food
ID biscuits, boiled chicken breast and the occasional scrambled eggs.
Defining moment of your life
Night at the vet’s in intensive care on a drip after eating something green and slimy. A near-death experience and the only time I didn’t want to eat, which deeply alarmed my owners and brought the introduction of boiled chicken breast into my life.
Any enemies?
The dog in the garden round the corner. And my owners’ Scottish plumber, Falco, who makes my hair stand up on end like a full-body mohican.
If you could do one thing to make the world a better place for felines what would it be?
Make them all as good looking as me.
If you could meet a celebrity who would it be and why?
Bagpuss to show him who’s the daddy.
Which one of the cats in Under The Paw and Talk To The Tail would you like to be stuck in a lift with?
The Bear. Feel we’d have a deep understanding of each other.

Brief biography
The son of two show cats – Grand Champion Tufton Topolino & Champion Tufton Adoramouse - I am absolutely gorgeous but I don’t fancy being a show pony as I’m secretly quite shy – mass public adoration isn’t for me. Granny Rosie (Sam’s Mum) says I’m the most beautiful cat she’s ever seen. British Shorthair tabby, born in Hothfield, Kent (bred by Lesley Miles) and I am SILVER & RED not GINGER! Had a very happy childhood with my sister Tinka who’s a silver and grey tabby. She’s a feisty miss and the perfect match for my boisterous self. I dream of catching mice and like to chase squirrels but I run away from another cats like a terrible coward. I don’t like my coat to get ruffled. My owners have just had a nice new electronic cat flap fitted for me through their two foot wall which I deign to use when I feel like it, but I’m a bit worried that if I keep eating so many biscuits I might not be able to get my rear end through. My owner’s a writer and I like to climb on his keyboard while he’s working and give him some ideas.

I wouldn't mind being under Monty's paw! He is almost as good looking (and naughty) as my new puss Penelope from the RSPCA. Cream blue something semi long hair. Love all cats.
Monty, you and your sister are as cute as can be.
ps what's wrong with being a ginger?!!
I agree
Pictures are wonderful. Who took them. I wish I could get pictures like that of my 4 cats (Angel, Willow, Cindy and Minnie).
SO CUTE! I always see great kittyl stuff on your page so I just thought I'd share this video we made goofing off - starring our newest rescue Lola the Call of Duty Kitty! ♥
