Tough Cats Comp Winner Luvly And Friends With His Winnings

Some pics of Luvly, the winner of Under The Paw's Toughest Cat contest, with his Applaws winnings, which he's been sharing with - or guarding quite fiercely from, by the looks of things - the rest of the residents of Shropshire Cat Rescue.

That rescue centre looks plush! My three will be packing their bags and setting off for Shropshire if they see those pictures. especially if they are being fed Applaws!

The Retirement Village at Shropshire Cat Rescue is a lovely place for the 'oldies' who no body wants. They are well looked after by the volunteers who are all unpaid but enjoy their work. It would be nice if Allpaws could either sponsor one of the chalets or even donate regular helpings of the food because the 'oldies' really loved it, and were given some after they had had their 'breakfast' the other day and really 'wooffed' it down. Good old Luvly he is a great little fella. I must admit I am biased as I am one of the helpers

Shropshire Cat Rescue is an organisation run entirely by volunteers and Luvly's win was appreciated by all the 'oldies' in the Retirement Village, which is where all the older cats reside who no one wants. They had had their breakfast the other day when later that morning they were given some Allpaws. Everyone 'tucked in' and they 'wooffed' it down. It was hilarious watching them even standing on the plates as they couldn't get enough of it. It would be good if Allpaws would sponsor one of the chalets or even donate some food. (Perhaps I am being a little cheeky but if you don't ask?) Good old Luvly he is a smashing little fella, (but they all are) It is a very worthwhile cause and I am one of the helpers.

Oh Marg, do behave! It's APPLAWS not Allpaws. Go and do 100 lines ;-)

Thanks again from all of us at Shropshire Cat Rescue :-D
