I have to drive through a long canyon going to work in the early morning. Occasionally they buzz real low in front of me about windshield level. Scares the crud out of me cause they are so big and come out of nowhere
He is concussed, absolutely. Very glad he's in expert hands now and recovering! I loved a little hawk (falcon?) who had flown into a window, at the last place we lived. Very beautiful bird, could still fly, but stayed close and had plenty to eat.
Love the pictures and the story! Such beautiful eyes. Very unfortunate for the owl to have gotten hurt, but what a treat for its rescuers to experience its beauty up close and personal!
I also love the word 'vex' and variations thereof. I became a fan of the word years ago after reading Mrs. Bennet being vexed overly much in Pride & Prejudice. Vex on!
