Ahaha! Cats also lick things they think smell like they need to be 'cleaned' so that could be it too :P My cat doesn't like human food, which is strange... everytime he would come and see what I had, I would always say "you won't like it, go on and see" - he'd lick it, twitch his ear then slowly get back down again.....
My cat Villi used to rip my hand off for a bit of the cheap cereal bar I used to get from Lidle. It was raspberry and apple and really sour. He doesn't really touch much other 'human' food.
How many licks does it take? The world may never know.
Victor thinks round lollipops are wonderful for chasing through the kitchen - with the wrapper on. He borrowed one right out of the boy's Halloween candy. He grabbed the handle ("tail") and tossed it around. Hmmm... I wonder where it ended up hiding?
Rocco licks *everything*! My plate when I have finished eating, my hand, my hair, the coffee table. Luca? Not a licker! But they both go crazyfor human food and there's a Mexican stand-off situation until I give them something from my plate.....

Actually, root beer is our fave flava. Fake lime, we leave alone. The Flakerz
