Cat Dictionary Entry: Ralph (v)

"Ralph" (v). To meow repetitively, in a manner that sounds uncannily like you're saying the word Ralph. E.g. "I didn't get a wink of sleep last night. That cat was Ralphing all over the place for hours."

we have a slightly different definition of ralph in our house but it is the "small r" ralph.

ralph (v) to regurgitate, typically a mixture of stomach contents and matted fur (see "hairball")on to a surface (hopefully the floor) preferably into the path of a barefoot human.

"Honey, watch your step , Harry ralphed in the hall by the bedroom door again. Could you clean that up for me?

I think my cats say 'Raoul', they do this at 4am then slap me in the face if I don't get up and feed them.
