I want THAT milky owl, very very cute! It's a young one but I think they can be tame enough to be a pet, but they do grow very big! Well, no worries with the cats trying to make a snack out of it - more likely the other way around! I love owls but couldn't possibly deal with the mice and chick diet...
I cant believe you can actually touch an owl!! we dont even have them here (well we have a sort of owl, but you couldnt touch it). Owl ownership is a good goal to have. Glad to see you're not rushing into it, either.
Amazing! it's a bit odd at the end though...seems like bird was in the wilderness and then all of a sudden in someone's living room?! i too did not know that you could touch a bird!
Birds are amazing, I remember being transfixed one day at a window watching two magpies rolling down the slope of my sisters front yard lawn-they flipped on their sides, then rolled down the slope, hopped back up to the top, then repeated the fun....how little we understand the animal world...

There is a scene in a very old movie, Jeux Interdits (available on DVD w/ subtitles), which has a scene of a dejected little boy in the barn, stroking the resident owl. Just as in your video, the owl leaned into the strokes, closed its eyes and looked euphoric. When I saw that, I thought, acts like half cat, half bird. I'd never seen anything like that before.

I does look better with it's eyes blissfully closed. I like owls but those black shiny 'Darth Vader' eyes on that breed do rather freak me out.
