"Llly is a kitten, she's very small and friendly and was just playing..."

I wrote in Under The Paw about the stories I'd been told about Puss, the cat my parents owned just before I was born, attacking their postman. I've always been a bit sceptical about these stories and imagine the reality might have been a bit more like this...

Lily sounds no more frightening than any other kitten who likes to play! I bought Under The Paw yesterday and it's brilliant, one of those books that make me laugh out loud! Jeannette

well, I'm actually glad that the Post Office takes such good care of their posties, and can imagine that encountering pets could sometimes be quite painful.
but maybe it would help if they didn't actually stick their hands through the mail slot? surely they could just push the post until if falls through?

I hope little Lily and her humans aren't penalised for her exuberance, and that the postwoman doesn't take a dislike to cats because of it.
