My father-in-law claims this really existed, but then this is the same man who once claimed to his daughter that he was "famous in Germany" as a result of writing a book about cigarette packets....

Cute? CUTE? I beg to disagree.
The piano keys when pressed, operated a lever which pressed a sharp metal pin into the secured tail of each of the cats.
The "musical" notes were actually the cats screaming in pain.
