This is reminding me of the time myself and a friend recreated the well-known Peter Duncan death scene from Flash Gordon using a large box with two holes that contained a particularly psychotic and sharp-clawed kitty. Blood was spilt.
At first I though that had been edited, -but then I remmebered just how fast cats can be. When we play the 'whap-whap' game with our Tilly cat she is so fast (and her claws are so sharp) that often you are sure she has missed -until your hand starts bleeding and the stinging starts. (She loves us really, but she obviously doesn't believe in playing soft).
If Box Kitty won the Worlds Fastest Cat competition, surely Boots, the cat in a suitcase, was first runner-up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pajTbmBV5kQ&feature=youtube_gdata
